Let’s talk about creating Spirit-led content that converts. This kind of content doesn’t come from a manipulative or fearful place. It comes from a place of divine inspiration.
Instead of pressuring customers into buying, your Spirit-led content flows with the message God has given you, sparks deep engagement, and leads to more sales—without the sleaze.
It’s time to stop guessing and start creating content that truly connects, inspires, and converts.
Sarah
Spirit-led sales content that converts flows from the message God gave you to share, and not from pressure or manipulation. You share your offers because you are meeting your clients’ God-given desires, and making a Kingdom impact.
What does that high level mission look like in your content, and how can you be sure you’re sharing the message God gave you? You can be sure by sharing your heart: your passion, knowledge, and expertise about those things that your client wants and needs. You’re confident about selling because your heart and your content are coming from a place of purpose.
Let’s break spirit-led content that converts into a couple of different pieces.
When God calls us to your business, and you listen to God’s prompting, you are operating within your calling. You don’t separate your business planning from your content mode, or from your services and products. These are not separate entities; they’re fully integrated in the calling God gave us.
When you’re creating spirit-led content for impact, weave in the threads of your calling: who you are, why you care about this, how you serve, and how you help your clients overcome big challenges.
Here’s one of my favorite examples:
Pretend your business is helping people with meal prep. You keep your eyes open in your industry, and you’ve noticed a trend. Influencers who specialize in meal prep are selling the idea that meal prep should be beautiful, as beautiful as the finished meal. They film themselves in perfect kitchens with perfect cooking implements and adorable containers. They usually look perfect too.
The issue is that people who already need help with meal preparation feel even worse because they can’t get it to look like the influencers do. They don’t have the right aesthetic, and they sure don’t have the cute little jars. They’re stuck even worse than they already were.
You feel for them. You know they’re buying a message of perfectionism that’s just making them even more stuck.
And you know that your message represents real freedom and creativity in preparing meals. You know you can get your client unstuck. You can free them from perfectionism and self-judgement, so they can discover comfort and satisfaction in preparing a good meal.
But you have a choice to make: overcome your fear and doubt about sharing content that converts.
Why worry that someone won’t like your genuine Spirit-led content? That just means it’s not for them. Nothing is wrong with that, but nothing is wrong with you either. You’re not right for everyone. But you are absolutely right for that person you created the content for—your ideal client.
When you’re in business, you’re not in business for everyone. You’re here for your specific ideal client who God wants you to work with, and you are their specific provider.
The Holy Spirit will help you to recognize your real audience. You know his voice when you listen for his holy promptings in the Bible and prayer. This confidence in him, your message, and your clients helps you overcome anxiety and the fear of rejection.
You’ll make mistakes, you all do. Maybe you took on a client just for the money or experience or you just felt sorry for them. But even though you closed this business opportunity, it wasn’t the right opportunity. Maybe you just don’t like this client, or they don’t like you. They give you all sorts of excuses, or you just can’t communicate what you mean. It’s not fun. It’s friction.
Your ideal client is going to be fun! You’ll work with people who are excited about what they’re learning and experiencing with you. They put the work in and make progress. You are different from other providers, and that is exactly what they need. This is how you start making a real impact.
Spirit-led content converts in a way that feels amazing and exciting to you, and feels just as great to your ideal clients. This level of content is powerful and engaging because it gets them moving in a healthy new direction.
