How to Grow Your Email List Using Your Facebook Group

Learning how to grow your email list as an online business owner is important, especially with social media craziness. Do you fear saying the wrong thing that will get you blocked? Or will all your ideal clients be gone if the social platform goes down?
For many, it’s a challenge getting people interested in signing up. But it can be much simpler than you think. With a few simple strategies you can start growing your email list so you can nurture your warmest leads!
Learning how to grow your email list is so important!
Three reasons that growing your email list is so important:
- Depending on only the algorithm to connect with your ideal client can be risky.
- The ongoing nurturing of relationships.
- Email is more personal, they have the option to reply one-on-one.
- We get to have full control of what you say.
Use these two strategies for how to grow your email list
The first strategy is an automatic system through the Facebook group membership questions. Use question three for your email list. Ask if they want to receive updates, be a VIP, or offer to send your freebie.
The second strategy is sharing your freebie as a post in your Facebook community. Not everyone is ready to give their email when they join the group. Keep offering the free resource at least once a month. Be sure you are not creating random freebies, make sure the freebie is directly related to your offer. It should give them a quick win!
The next step in how to grow your email list
A simple welcome sequence that delivers your free resource. But it’s more than just giving them a free resource. It should include the following:
- Daily emails for up to a week. Your most active members are the newest ones.
- Empathize with their pain point. Share you know what they are going through.
- Offer solutions. Solutions in this context are the hope forward. What is the destination that they are working toward?
- Selling. Offer them paid resources to get to their destination faster. Be very upfront about the fact that you have offers that help them. Remember they are excited to learn more.
A great starting point is one email delivering the free resource. You can continue to build the welcome sequence over time.
